Jimmy Mohamed's full message

In a text published on Instagram, the doctor speaks directly and admits to having wanted to keep his private life separate from his public presence.

Here is his full message:

“Today, it’s time for me to speak out. Until now, I had chosen not to expose my private life, because I always considered that I am here to share health advice, and that my personal life should remain private.

Last December, I therefore made the decision not to react and not to speak out in order to protect our three children and to go through this painful separation in private, as so many families do.

Today, I understand that my silence may raise questions. That is why I am speaking out by addressing you directly.

I deeply regret not having been able to protect my family. However, I say this very firmly: I have never used any form of violence against the mother of my children.

I do not wish to turn this personal situation into a public debate. It was simply important for me to state very clearly where I stand.

I thank all the people who have shown me their support.

See you soon.
