“At Miss Universe, when I was a judge last year, there was no transparency. In the end, the scores were presented on stage. As judges, we didn’t really know if what we were judging actually reflected what was happening.” Six of the eight judges I spoke to did not vote for Fátima Bosch » This sentence, signed Natalie Glebova, a member of the Miss Universe 2025 jury, is irreparably worsening the crisis of confidence surrounding Miss Universe, whose election took place last November.
Following Omar Harfouch's dramatic resignation from the jury, after he denounced the cheating during Fátima Bosch's election, it is now Natalie Glebova which drives the point home. The former Miss Universe 2005, who was appointed to the Miss Universe jury as a replacement for Omar Harfouch, has just dropped a bombshell. Currently a member of the jury for the MGI All Stars competition, she stated during the filming of a documentary that Six of the eight judges did not vote for Fatima Bosch. last November, thus confirming that the Miss Universe competition was totally rigged.
"I obviously didn't vote for Miss Mexico."
Natalie Glebova recounts being surprised by the victory of Fátima Bosch, Miss Mexico, to the point of conducting her own behind-the-scenes checks with other judges: “I did my own research behind the scenes after the judging was over, and I really wanted to find out for myself what the other judges thought of the competition. Because when I saw the final results, I was perplexed, since I obviously hadn't voted for Miss Mexico, for Fátima Bosch. So I wanted to ask the other judges, and six of the eight judges I spoke to didn't vote for Fátima Bosch.”, "Miss Mexico, according to my own research."
Unlike the Miss Universe pageant, the MGI All Stars, which is currently underway, is much more transparent.
As if to drive the point home, Natalie Glebova compared the Miss Universe competition with the MGI All-Stars competition, currently taking place in Thailand, to show that transparency is entirely possible: "At the MGI All-Stars competition, the system works flawlessly. The scores are entered by all the judges and immediately displayed for everyone to see. So, I absolutely love that transparency." A statement that sounds like a direct and scathing comparison with Miss Universe, which offered no visibility on the jury's vote.
A new charge following the resignation of Omar Harfouch
These statements give new resonance to Omar Harfouch's resounding resignation from the Miss Universe jury. He left the competition denouncing what he considered to be serious irregularities: lack of transparency, manipulation, and conflicts of interest involving Raúl Rocha, co-owner of Miss Universe, who is now wanted by Mexican authorities for his links to the cards, money laundering, and drug and fuel trafficking.
The Miss Universe Organization tried unsuccessfully to refute these accusations, but Natalie Glebova's testimony definitively discredits, if it were necessary, the election of Fátima Bosch and Raúl rocha.
MGI All Stars, a model of transparency
The contrast is all the more striking given that Natalie Glebova is speaking from another pageant, MGI All Stars, where she serves as a judge alongside Omar Harfouch. In this competition, scores are entered by the judges and then displayed immediately, allowing everyone to verify the process. She describes this model as transparent, clear, and efficient. Her statement therefore also sounds like a direct criticism of Miss Universe: while MGI All Stars makes scores visible, Miss Universe allegedly left its own judges in the dark.
Miss Universe has definitively lost all credibility
With this statement, Natalie Glebova reignites the Fatima Bosch affair and further undermines the credibility of Miss Universe, if it had any left. When a former Miss Universe, now a judge, publicly asserts that six of the eight judges consulted did not vote for the candidate who was ultimately crowned, the organization can no longer simply offer general responses. It must now answer a simple question: where is the proof that the judges' vote was respected? Proof, we all know, that will never materialize…
