In its evening edition, TF1 broadcast the interview of Karine Viseur, who accuses Patrick Bruel of a sexual assault that occurred on April 23, 2010 in Brussels, while she was accompanying him as part of the promotion of one of his films.
According to her, Belgian television was following the artist that day, with the press officer by her side. Interviewed in the TF1 report, she described the scene as follows: "In a fraction of a second, he grabbed my wrist, pulled me in, and locked me in the bathroom. I felt his lips on my neck, his hands moving up my thighs. I finally managed to open the door and escape, having said 'no' more than once."
Karine Viseur adds: « He's the hunter and we're the prey. Clearly. Women are prey for Patrick Bruel.
According to her, members of the team present that day, who witnessed her behavior, repeatedly asked her to stop.
Three investigations now opened against Patrick Bruel
The case has taken on a new legal dimension with the opening of three separate investigations.
In Brussels, an investigation has been opened following a complaint by Karine Viseur, who accuses Patrick Bruel of events that she places in April 2010.
In Paris, an investigation has also been opened since Tuesday, April 14, following a complaint filed by Daniela Elstner, the current CEO of Unifrance. She accuses Patrick Bruel of sexual assault and attempted rape for events she places in 1997 in Mexico, on the sidelines of the Acapulco French Film Festival.
A third investigation has finally been opened in Saint-Malo. The complainant, who has remained anonymous, accuses Patrick Bruel of rape in October 2012, on the sidelines of the Dinard British Film Festival, of which the singer and actor was then president of the jury.
Patrick Bruel's defense team asserts that he will respond to the summonses.
Faced with these accusations, Patrick Bruel denies the allegations against him. His lawyer, Christophe Ingrain, stated that"He will respond to any summons that may be addressed to him."
