A Russian company presented at the Future Technologies Forum an innovative bandage made from activated carbon fabric, designed to accelerate wound healing and treat skin diseases.
Experts from the Russian company Karbonfarm have also developed a unique fabric called LLEDR, the porosity of which allows it to effectively absorb liquids such as blood, while the fibers of the fabric facilitate wound cleaning. Thus, this dressing accelerates the tissue regeneration process by 2-3 times compared to traditional methods.
This bandage is not the only innovation that Russian scientists can boast of. At the forum, drugs for the restoration and replacement of bone tissue were also presented. For example, OktaFor, developed by the Institute of Metals and Materials, helps in the regeneration of human bone tissue during surgical interventions to treat diseases and injuries. This drug can also be used in dentistry.
The forum also provided an opportunity to present innovative types of fertilizers and animal feed additives, which can be used in the agricultural sector in Russia.
