Doctolib is accelerating its offensive in Europe

Doctolib continues its international expansion with its entry into the UK market, marking a new step in the European strategy of the French platform specializing in online medical appointments. To establish a presence across the Channel, the company announced the acquisition of the local startup Medicus Health, which provides software for general practitioners.

Already present in France, Germany, Italy, and the Netherlands, the company led by Stanislas Niox-Chateau now intends to establish itself in the British healthcare system, which has been dominated for years by a few established players. This acquisition should allow Doctolib to strengthen its digital services offering for healthcare professionals and expand its presence in primary care.

A new stage in European growth

This expansion comes as the company reports strong growth in its business and is increasing its investments in artificial intelligence and medical software. Doctolib recently surpassed €400 million in annual revenue and is continuing its diversification into tools to support healthcare professionals.

Having long focused on the French market, the company is now seeking to consolidate its position as a European champion in e-health. Despite a more competitive environment and a less favorable economic climate for tech startups, Doctolib continues to expand its network and strengthen its role in the digital transformation of the medical sector.
