Sophie Garel, a long-time voice of RTL, has died at the age of 84.

Radio and television presenter Sophie Garel died this Thursday morning at the age of 84. Her death marks the loss of a familiar voice in the French media landscape, long associated with RTL and its major entertainment programs.

Having joined RTL in the late 1960s, Sophie Garel quickly established herself as one of the station's key figures. She notably worked alongside Fabrice, with whom she participated in several popular programs, including "Les jeux de Fabrice avec Sophie".
