MFM Radiowhich further expands their media empire. The two men are thus continuing, hand in hand, their rise to power in the Lebanese media landscape. After the success of Nidaa Al WatanMFM Radio, a daily newspaper and online publication that has become an essential reference in Lebanon and among the diaspora in just one year, was integrated by the two partners into the MTV universe. This launch establishes a free, sovereign, and independent Lebanese voice in the face of powerful, organized, and well-funded pro-Iranian propaganda already very present in the press, television, and influence networks.

Nidaa Al Watan, “The Call of the Homeland”, born in the face of pro-Hezbollah propaganda

As a reminder, Nidaa Al Watan, which means “The Call of the Homeland,” was launched a year ago, in the early days of the bombings against Hezbollah. From its inception, the daily newspaper has adopted a direct editorial stance against pro-Hezbollah rhetoric and the pro-Iranian media establishment. While some Lebanese media outlets continue to use ambiguous, even pro-Hezbollah, language, Nidaa Al Watan Nidaa Al Watan chose a direct approach. The newspaper doesn't refer to Hezbollah as the "Lebanese resistance," but presents it as an armed militia responsible for part of the country's destruction, the weakening of the Lebanese state, and the loss of control over entire areas of the territory. In a very short time, Nidaa Al Watan gained readers, subscribers, and credibility. Facing a long-established pro-Iranian daily with a strong media presence and wide distribution, Nidaa Al Watan managed to establish itself as a significant counterweight. The newspaper grew rapidly in circulation, readership, and influence, surpassing its competitors in several key areas: public attention, reader trust, and the ability to bring its issues to the forefront of the national debate.

A voice for the Christians of Lebanon, the sovereigntists, and the diaspora

The success of Nidaa Al Watan It is also important that it has given a voice to a part of Lebanon that has been marginalized for too long in the media debate. The voice of Lebanese Christians, Lebanese committed to the country's sovereignty, independents, and the diaspora has regained a clear, powerful, and visible space.

It is in this spirit that Omar Harfouch and Michel El Murr are launching MFM Radio today. The station complements the existing offerings of Nidaa Al Watan by giving the public more immediate access to information. With MFM Radio, Lebanese people can follow the news on the 101.5 FM frequency, but also digitally, in audio and video, via MTV platforms. This new offering allows citizens, especially those who spend long hours in traffic jams, to listen to free, direct, and independent news, without relying on narratives imposed by pro-Iranian media.

A political radio station, but not only that

It's worth noting that while MFM Radio is presented as a political station, its programming isn't limited to politics. It also covers economics, sports, culture, legal affairs, security and military issues, as well as major social topics. Nearly 20 programs are announced, featuring the station's personalities. The radio station offers debates, news bulletins, specialized programs, and formats designed to keep listeners engaged throughout the day. Its slogan sums up its positioning: “The voice of law and truth.”

Their career is notably associated with Supernova Radio, considered the first FM radio station in Ukraine's history. This know-how acquired abroad is now being reinvested in Lebanon, in a much more tense political and media context, but with the same underlying principle: to create media outlets capable of existing, influencing, and taking editorial risks.
