Sud Radio has officially announced a major reorganization of its fall schedule. The main change concerns its morning slot, now hosted by Jacques Cardoze. The journalist will present the morning show from Monday to Friday, from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m., replacing Jean-Jacques Bourdin, whose departure was announced in the spring. This new program will focus on current events, debates, and interaction with listeners, with the aim of strengthening the role of news at the heart of the station's programming.
A return to journalism after several years of an atypical career path
Aged 56, Jacques Cardoze is returning to a news position after a career marked by several changes of direction. A former senior reporter and then news anchor... Complément d'enquête on France 2 between 2018 and 2021, he then left France Télévisions to become communications director for Olympique de Marseille. After this experience, he joined the team of Do not touch My TV !where he had participated in several editorial projects before returning today to a daily news program.
Stéphanie de Muru also joins the station
Sud Radio's fall season will also be marked by the arrival of Stéphanie de Muru. A former journalist with RT France and Europe 1, she will host a new program airing from 10 a.m. to noon. This show will address major everyday concerns, with a strong emphasis on debates, personal accounts, and listener calls.
Jean-François Achilli promoted this weekend
Another change announced: Jean-François Achilli becomes the new face of the weekend morning show. Already in charge of political interviews on Sud Radio for the past two years, he succeeds Maxime Lledo in this key time slot. With these appointments, Sud Radio is refreshing part of its news programming for the upcoming season by relying on several well-known figures in the French media landscape.
