The latest Médiamétrie figures, published this morning, present a review of radio audiences for the period November–December 2025. This new wave shows that historic radio stations France Inter, RTL and NRJ continue to lose listeners.

Si France Inter retains its first place in the national rankings, the public station loses 293,000 listeners over a year, following a downward trend already observed in previous waves.

RTL, long second in the rankings, has seen its audience decline by approximately 150,000 listeners, which now places it at the same level as France InfoThe latter lost nearly 400,000 listeners over the same period, leading to a rebalancing among the main French generalist radio stations.

RMC Meanwhile, it lost 73,000 listeners, while Europe 1 continued to grow. The station gained 145,000 listeners over the past year.

NRJ in tough times

Music radio stations show different performances depending on the station. NRJ lost 250,000 listeners in one year, continuing a series of declines. Nostalgia, also in the same group, recorded a decrease of 135,000 listeners.

HERE]. , formerly France Bleu, also continues to lose listeners, with 350,000 fewer people.

Fun radio sees its audience decrease by 325,000 listeners, whileEurope 2 exceeds one million daily listeners for the first time and gains 193,000 listeners in one year.

France Culture reached 2,3 million daily listeners compared to 2 million a year earlier, registering a record for this period.

Finally Radio Nova Radio Nova continues its excellent performance, registering 1,266,000 loyal listeners every day. With 490,000 more listeners in one year, Radio Nova once again achieves the best growth of all radio stations.

It should be noted that 37,8 million French people listen to the radio daily, which is 730,000 fewer than a year ago.
