Society, particularly after the success of his investigation into Xavier Dupont de Ligonnès. According SocietyThe first five chapters constitute the first part of a story "massive", the sequel to which is announced for the May 21.

An investigation in several episodes

The first salvo published by Society It includes an introduction and five chapters, conceived as a journalistic serial. An effective way to bring order to a sprawling affair, with its fantasies and grey areas.

The first five chapters then unfold this narrative, starting from his intimate and material world, with “The Lair”, focused on his living spaces, particularly his apartment on Avenue Foch, then “An American in Paris”, dedicated to its French ties, “Criminal pacts”which explores the alliances, protections, and silences that allowed the network to endure, “Behind the Doors”which attempts to reconstruct what was happening in private spaces and closed circles, and finally “A game of chess”which shows the case as a system of calculations, power dynamics and strategies of impunity.

A powerful return of grand journalistic narrative

Like he usually does, Society It does not simply republish the already known elements of the Epstein case. Like the work done for the Dupont de Ligonnès case, the magazine goes further by looking at the places, the secondary characters, the archives, the contradictions, the forgotten scenes and the international connections.

This is precisely where the work ofEmmanuelle Andreani et Anthony Mansuy takes on its full value. The two journalists tackle a highly sensitive case, because it is global, legal, political, media-driven, and saturated with rumors, with a rigor in storytelling and verification that characterizes major investigative journalism. On RTL, Emmanuelle Andreani described a case “sprawling” and explained that the investigation is focused on understanding how the Epstein system operated. Anthony Mansuy, for his part, discusses elements of the investigation that allow for a confrontation of certain public versions.

Special mention must be made of the role ofEmmanuelle Andreani, editor-in-chief of Societywhose work here seems to combine two qualities: the cold rigor of the investigation and a flair for storytelling. Anthony Mansuy, a seasoned reporter, also brings investigative skills and a taste for fieldwork.

Why this survey matters

The Epstein affair is one of the biggest criminal scandals of this century. It raises questions about how money, power, social media, and institutions can create a space of impunity around an individual. By choosing to dedicate a two-part report to it, Society It reminds us of an essential point: some matters require time and cannot be properly recounted in a few lines in a single article. Epstein, what you've never readThe magazine has therefore produced an essential release for anyone wanting to understand all the ramifications of this sprawling and unprecedented scandal.
