Jean-Philippe Tanguy denounces Lecornu's "petty politics" and attacks Édouard Philippe

Invited to BFMTV this Sunday, Jean-Philippe Tanguy strongly attacked Sébastien Lecornu and Édouard Philippe, while defending the economic line of the National Rally and the pension reform championed by Marine Le Pen.

The National Rally MP for the Somme region first responded to the Prime Minister, who had warned that presidential candidates would be "the first victims" of a lack of funding. "The first victims are the French people," retorted Jean-Philippe Tanguy, accusing Sébastien Lecornu of playing "petty politics" and merely giving the impression of wanting to engage in dialogue with all opposition parties.

Tanguy attacks Édouard Philippe

The National Rally official also responded to Édouard Philippe's criticisms of the party's economic program. "I don't know how he manages to present himself to the French people," he declared, specifically mentioning the abandonment of the points-based pension reform championed during the previous presidential term. He also denounced those who "consider themselves experts" and believe they possess "divinely divinely ordained knowledge."

Regarding pensions, Jean-Philippe Tanguy confirmed that the National Rally (RN) advocates a retirement age "between 60 and 62, depending on the start of one's career." Despite questions about the financing of this measure, he asserted that he was "certain" the party's economic policies would allow the reform to be balanced.

Finally, when asked about Jordan Bardella's role in the presidential campaign, Jean-Philippe Tanguy asserted that the RN president enjoyed Marine Le Pen's "absolute confidence," while defending his freedom of speech at the head of the party.
