Gabriel Attal begins this Wednesday, March 26, a two-day trip to Charente, the first stop on a Tour de France of public meetings focused on the war in Ukraine and major international balances. The former Prime Minister, now president of the Ensemble pour la République group in the National Assembly and secretary general of Renaissance, will lead a meeting this evening in Champniers, at the Espace Paul-Dambier, starting at 18:45 p.m.

This initiative aims to "mobilize citizens" on crucial issues, according to those close to him. Through these public exchanges, Gabriel Attal intends to shed light on the repercussions of the Ukrainian conflict on the world order, European security, and France's place in international diplomacy. He will be joined for the occasion by the Renaissance MP for the constituency, Sandra Marsaud.

War in Ukraine, diplomacy and citizenship on the agenda

The following day, Thursday, March 27, Attal will continue his visit to Angoulême. On the agenda: a visit to the Superprod animation studio, one of the major players in the city's image sector, followed by a field trip to the covered market, where he will interact with residents. These visits are part of a strategy to reclaim local territory, as the presidential party seeks to revive its presence in the regions.

Gabriel Attal's return to the spotlight comes at a time when the majority is struggling to impose its position. Recently in Bordeaux, he did not hesitate to criticize the management of Green mayor Pierre Hurmic, while also expressing his support for a possible candidacy of MP Thomas Cazenave in the upcoming municipal elections.

After leaving Matignon, Gabriel Attal has been making numerous public appearances and launching political initiatives. This Tour de France could also serve to reestablish his name in the public eye, as major maneuvers have already begun in preparation for the upcoming elections.
