Fearing losing his place in the first constituency in the North after the Popular Front negotiations, LFI deputy Adrien Quatennens sent an appeal to “women, left-wing, feminists” to support his candidacy.
Despite his conviction for domestic violence, Quatennens asks that he be trusted to “defend with humility the principles of feminists and gender equality” in his next mandate.
Since his conviction in December 2022, Quatennens has been in disgrace and is one of the “special cases” among the 151 outgoing deputies from the ex-Nupes whose fate remains to be decided. These profiles are considered “irritating” by other political groups.
