The American presidential plane Air Force One, which was carrying Donald Trump The plane bound for the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland, was forced to turn back early this morning, shortly after departing from Joint Base Andrews in Maryland. The White House indicated that a "minor electrical problem" had been detected on board the aircraft, leading the crew to abort the flight as a precaution.

According to White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt, the anomaly occurred shortly after takeoff. The decision to return to base was made to ensure the safety of the president and all passengers.

A momentary blackout of the lights on board

A journalist on board the plane reported that the lights in the press cabin briefly went out moments after takeoff. No immediate technical explanation was provided to the journalists at that time. About half an hour after departure, the crew informed the passengers that the aircraft would be turning back.

The presidential plane landed without incident at Joint Base Andrews, about an hour after its initial takeoff.

The device has been changed

After landing, Donald Trump was scheduled to change planes to continue his trip to Switzerland. The White House stated that the president would still attend the World Economic Forum in Davos, despite the technical setback, with an estimated delay of a few hours.
