Luxury and femininity, these are the two themes inspired by the French designer of Arab origin Nabil Younes, taken from the Roman palaces, to which he pays homage to aristocratic art. He thus creates a new line of sophistication based on pure royalty, reintegrating the fabrics of the past in a modern way, and presented it in his collection The Queen during the Fashion Week in Rome.
The collection, inspired by Roman queens, wanted every woman to be a princess, with elements of royalty present in their elegance and appearance at various special events. That is why he paid great attention to the sparkling embroidery of jewels and precious stones such as pearls and Swarovski crystals of different sizes, which he did not limit to specific points, but distributed in a breathtaking way so that each fold seems encrusted, illuminated to the rhythm of the lights of parties and evenings.
The attention to detail and additions was conceived by Nabil Younes as an extension of the interest in fabrics, which were distinguished by their size, folds and drapes, which sometimes covered the entire dress or focused on specific areas such as the shoulders, chest or waist, creating a look of princesses of European palaces, overflowing with femininity, beauty and distinction.
Fitted cuts predominated in the creations, emphasizing the feminine silhouette and forming a captivating presence. The sizes of the dresses widened with additions such as feathers, fur coats or ruffles. These are cuts that redefine the meaning of the European classic, as they do not follow the tradition of the bare shoulder, but take the form of parallel designs and sculptures. In some models, the dress seems a single mass, from the shoulders to the bottom, while in others it starts from the chest, emphasizing the bust, arms or bare back, adding seductive elements and elegant boldness.
The pleats in the designs are formed using precious fabrics, such as lace, chiffon, organza, and other delicate fabrics, while being magnified by ruffles, shiny, metallic fabrics and gold threads scattered in some designs like rays of sunshine. They sparkle in warm, earthy tones such as brown, bronze, black, beige, grey and silver, giving the designs an extra royal dimension and allowing the embroidery to convey a joyful atmosphere.
The royal image is completed in a wedding dress inspired by the colors of the moon, where white meets a flow of silver embroidery that occupies the upper part of the dress, surrounded by white on the soft veil and from the waist to the feet. This dress tells a story of luxury and infinite beauty.
