Ten years after his last solo album, Bruno Mars The artist is officially relaunching his career with a fourth album announced for the end of February. Even before the album's release, he plans to unveil a first track this Friday, kicking off the year with a highly anticipated comeback.

A new album with a release date, announced directly by Bruno Mars

On his social media, Bruno Mars initially posted a simple message, "My album is finished," before specifying the details of his comeback: the project is titled "The Romantic," and its release is set for February 27th. The launch is starting earlier than expected: the first single from the album is due to be released this Friday, January 9th.

The album comes after a long solo hiatus. Bruno Mars' last album under his own name, "24K Magic," dates back to 2016. This decade without a new solo album, however, did not resemble a disappearance: the artist continued to record and release music, but mainly through collaborations.

Meanwhile, Bruno Mars has been involved in numerous collaborative projects and features, including Silk Sonic with Anderson .Paakwhich allowed him to remain active while changing formats. More recently, he has also distinguished himself on high-profile duets, notably with Lady Gaga on "Die With a Smile" or with Rosé on "APT."

With "The Romantic", Bruno Mars takes back control of a solo studio album, and puts his name back at the center, with a tight release strategy: an immediate single, then a full album a few weeks later.
