Eight years after her last solo concert in Paris, Lauryn Hill will return to the Accor Arena stage on September 2, 2026. The American hip-hop and soul icon, who previously performed at the venue in 2024 with the Fugees, will reunite with her fans for a single show. Tickets will go on sale Friday, July 17, at 10:00 AM.
A hip-hop legend returns to the stage
Rising to fame in the 1990s with the Fugees thanks to hit songs like "Killing Me Softly" and " Ready or Not ," Lauryn Hill made music history with her debut solo album, * The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill *. Released in 1998, this album, which remains her only studio album to date, earned her five Grammy Awards in 1999, including Album of the Year.
For this Paris concert, the artist will be accompanied by her sons YG Marley and Zion Marley, announced as special guests. Last May, Lauryn Hill also opened up on Instagram about her recording career, explaining how difficult it was to maintain a creative space true to her convictions while dealing with exhaustion.
A highly anticipated return after a previous tumultuous concert
Lauryn Hill's last solo performance in Paris, in 2018, left mixed memories. The first of her two concerts at the Accor Arena was marred by a delay of over two and a half hours, before the show was cut short to about fifty minutes. Known for her recurring lateness, the singer later apologized to her fans on social media, thanking them for their patience, before delivering a widely acclaimed performance on the second night.
This new event is therefore particularly anticipated by the artist's fans, who hope to see her back on stage as one of the most influential figures in rap and R&B for over twenty-five years.
