"Ukraine has been fighting the 'Shaheds' for years, and everyone recognizes that no other country in the world has such experience," he said, referring to the Iranian-designed drones used extensively by Russia in its war against Ukraine.
The Ukrainian president reiterated Kyiv's willingness to share this expertise with its international partners facing similar attacks. He stated that the experience gained by the Ukrainian army in intercepting and neutralizing these drones could be useful to other countries in the region.
Since the start of the large-scale Russian invasion, Ukraine has been regularly targeted by Shahed drones, which have been used to strike energy infrastructure and urban areas. Ukrainian forces have developed several methods to intercept them, ranging from air defense systems to interceptor drones.
