A group of hackers claims responsibility for a major cyberattack against Novo Nordisk and is demanding $25 million.

The Danish pharmaceutical company Novo Nordisk, known in particular for its treatments for diabetes and obesity, is facing a major cybersecurity case after a group of hackers claimed to have stolen a large amount of sensitive data and demanded a ransom of $25 million.

The hacker group, calling itself FulcrumSec, claims to have penetrated the company's computer systems and obtained confidential information covering several strategic areas. According to its statements, the stolen data includes proprietary information related to drug development, computer source code, and documents pertaining to the artificial intelligence models used by the company.
