Prince Harry will travel to London alone; Meghan and their children will remain outside the capital.

Prince Harry will travel to London alone next week. His wife, Meghan, and their two children, Archie and Lilibet, will not be accompanying him to the British capital, the Duke of Sussex's spokesperson announced on Saturday.

Harry is expected in London and then Birmingham for several official engagements and charity events dedicated to promoting the 2027 Invictus Games. While Meghan and the children will not be going to London, their participation in part of the trip elsewhere in the UK has not been completely ruled out.

According to the daily The TelegraphThis decision is reportedly linked to the denial of a request for police protection for the family. The prince's spokesperson did not confirm this information but indicated that the possibility of a trip to Birmingham remained under consideration.

Prince Harry has repeatedly expressed his desire to show his children around the United Kingdom, as they haven't been back for several years. However, he says that security concerns complicate the organization of such trips.

The visit coincides with a high-profile court ruling concerning the security arrangements afforded to the prince during his stays in the United Kingdom. Despite these difficulties, his entourage maintains that they continue to explore all possible solutions to ensure his family's safety when traveling to Britain.
