Rescue teams are continuing their search through the rubble in Kyiv the day after what Ukrainian authorities are calling the deadliest Russian attack on the capital this year. Operations are focused on several severely damaged buildings, where people may still be trapped.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky It was reported that ten people were still missing, while rescue workers continued their operations in difficult conditions. Authorities are also continuing to assess the extent of the destruction caused by this large-scale attack.

According to Kyiv, Russia launched a massive offensive against the capital, causing significant material damage and a heavy death toll. This attack comes as Russian bombing continues in several regions of Ukraine, despite international calls for de-escalation.

For its part, Moscow claims that this strike is a retaliatory measure in response to Ukrainian attacks against Russian territory. Russian authorities maintain that their operations are aimed at responding to Kyiv's military actions.

As the search continues and residents pay tribute to the victims, this latest attack illustrates once again the intensity of the conflict, which continues to claim many civilian lives more than four years after the start of the war.
