The weather forecast for Saturday, June 7th, is very mixed. A new weather system is moving across the northwest regions, bringing rain, showers and strong gusts of wind, while the southeast and Corsica are enjoying mostly sunny and particularly pleasant weather.
Rainfall will mainly affect a large area stretching from Brittany to Hauts-de-France. Showers will be frequent throughout the day, in humid and sometimes unsettled conditions. Wind will be a major feature of the day, with gusts reaching 80 to 100 km/h on the Breton coast and along the English Channel. Gusts of 80 to 90 km/h are also expected on the Alabaster Coast and the Opal Coast until the evening.
Conversely, sunshine will prevail in the southeast, from the Rhône Valley to the Mediterranean coast, as well as in Corsica. Sunny spells will be frequent and long-lasting, offering ideal conditions for outdoor activities.
Temperatures will remain somewhat cool in the north and west, with highs between 15 and 20°C, 2 to 3 degrees below the seasonal average. In the southeast, it will feel much more summery with highs of 24 to 27°C, 2 to 4 degrees above the usual average for early June.
