The weather remains mixed across France this Friday, June 5th. The last of the week's rain is still affecting the northeastern regions, while sunshine prevails in the southeast and Corsica. Despite some sunny spells elsewhere, the overall feeling remains cool for this time of year.
Lingering showers will persist from Hauts-de-France to Alsace, both in the morning and afternoon. Over much of the northern two-thirds of the country, cloud cover will remain extensive, although some sunny spells are expected at times.
The weather is much more pleasant around the Mediterranean and in Corsica, where the sun shines generously from morning to night. These regions enjoy the most favorable conditions of the day with a milder and brighter atmosphere.
Maximum temperatures generally reach 16 to 20°C between Brest and Strasbourg, 20 to 23°C from Bordeaux to Lyon, and up to 24 to 25°C on the Mediterranean coast and in Corsica. These values often remain 1 to 3°C below seasonal norms across most of the country, with the exception of Languedoc and Provence where they are close to, or even slightly above, the usual averages.
