The weather is starting to change this Sunday in France with the return of an oceanic flow from the west. An Atlantic disturbance is bringing rain this morning to regions near the Atlantic coast before moving in during the afternoon towards the central regions, from the Pyrenees to the Channel coast, passing through the Loire Valley and the Paris Basin.
Conversely, the east of the country and the Mediterranean regions will enjoy calmer weather, although clouds will increase as the day progresses. The sky will often remain bright despite the still-cool atmosphere for this time of year.
Temperatures are beginning a slight rise after several particularly cold days. However, light frost remains possible this morning between Lorraine and Burgundy. In the afternoon, highs will be 1 to 2°C higher than on Saturday, but will still remain below seasonal averages across much of the country.
