Rockstar Games officially announced on Thursday the opening of pre-orders for Grand Theft Auto VIThe game can be reserved from the 25nd June on digital stores and at selected retailers. The announcement is accompanied by the presentation of the official cover of the game, built in the historical visual style of the series, with a mosaic of characters, vehicles and action scenes.
A date for pre-orders
Pre-orders for GTA 6 will begin on Thursday, June 25th. At this stage, Rockstar indicates availability on digital stores and at select retailers, without yet providing a complete list of participating stores. The game is announced on PlayStation 5 et Xbox Series X | SNo PC version is shown in the information currently highlighted for the launch.

The cover of GTA 6 The cover art adopts the franchise's iconic format: several illustrated vignettes surrounding the central logo. These include images of Jason and Lucia, a helicopter, a motorcycle, a sports car, a boat, a crocodile, and various scenes related to the Vice City universe. This cover marks a new, concrete step in the game's launch campaign. Until now, Rockstar had primarily communicated through trailers, official visuals, and the game's dedicated webpage.
Scheduled for release on November 19, 2026
Grand Theft Auto VI is expected on November 19, 2026. The game had previously been delayed, with Rockstar announcing this new schedule after an initial postponement to May 2026.
History will highlight Jason and Lucia, two characters linked by a criminal escapade in the fictional state of Leonidas, with Vice City as the central setting. Rockstar presents the game as the biggest immersive evolution of the series to date.

Rockstar has not yet announced the price of GTA 6, nor any potential launch editions. The exact time pre-orders will open on June 25th has also not been specified.
