Ali Mohammad Naini, head of communications for the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps, held a strategic position within the Iranian security apparatus. His death represents another major blow to this key organization of the regime.
The disappearance of this senior official comes as the Middle East experiences a new phase of escalation, marked by indirect confrontations between Iran and its adversaries.
