American company Motorola has unveiled its latest series of foldable phones, the "Razr," including three new models.
The 2025 series includes the base “Razr,” the “Razr Plus,” and the “Razr Ultra,” the latter of which features a very unique wooden design that sets it apart.
Motorola claims that, thanks to its Snapdragon processor, the "Razr Ultra" will not only be the world's most powerful foldable phone, but also the one with the fastest charging, according to a report by specialist website Mashable.
Razr Ultra
The Razr Ultra is the most expensive model in the series, priced at $1. It features a 300-inch external display, a 4-inch internal display, 7GB of RAM, and 16GB of storage.
It is equipped with a large 4 mAh battery and the new “Snapdragon 700 Elite” processor, as well as three 8-megapixel cameras.
The phone comes with a sleek wood finish, making it one of the most distinctive designs currently available in the smartphone market.
Artificial intelligence
The "Motorola Razr 2025" series is also equipped with the "Moto AI" intelligent assistant developed by Motorola, which integrates many features based on artificial intelligence.
Among the features is "Group Shot," similar to the one on the latest "Google Pixel" phones, which allows you to combine several group photos into one to get a perfect picture where no one is making faces.
Artificial intelligence features are now essential in the smartphone market, with each new launch bringing its share of innovations. Moto AI will also benefit from Google's Gemini, including the Gemini Live mode.
Razr and Razr Plus
The other two models, the Razr and Razr Plus, don't match the Razr Ultra's elegance, but are offered at significantly more affordable prices.
The base model starts at $699. It has a 3,6-inch external display, a 6,9-inch internal display, an older MediaTek Dimensity 7400X processor, 8GB of RAM, and 256GB of storage. Its camera setup is more modest than the Ultra's.
The "Razr Plus" starts at $999, with a 4-inch external display, a 6,9-inch internal display, a third-generation "Snapdragon 8S" processor, 12GB of RAM, 256GB of storage and a 4mAh battery.
It is equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera, a 13-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 32-megapixel selfie camera.
The 2025 Razr series models will be available for pre-order in the United States starting May 7.
