SHE SAID, SHE LIED - Danièle Obono denounces Darmanin's visit to Sarkozy... before trying to go herself

On October 21, on the BFMTV set, The rebellious deputy Danièle Obono was indignant at the support given to Nicolas Sarkozy after his five-year prison sentence in the Libyan financing case. She particularly attacked Gérald Darmanin, whom she accused of preparing a "complacent visit" to the former president imprisoned in the Santé prison, denouncing a two-tier system where the powerful would be pampered while "young people from the projects" would suffer merciless justice.

SHE SAID…

"Sarkozy is convicted of criminal conspiracy, and yet the president receives him, the Minister of Justice (Gérald Darmanin) goes to visit him, and the entire right wing cries about the injustice. What a bunch of hypocrites! This benevolence only exists because it concerns Nicolas Sarkozy. For the kid from the projects, we will never talk about dignity or understanding."

These indignant words were aimed directly at Gérald Darmanin, who was accused by the left of wanting to grant "preferential treatment" to the former president. Danièle Obono then posed as the guarantor of republican rigor and equality before the law.

SHE LIED!

A few days later, the same Danièle Obono went to the Santé prison... to try to meet Nicolas Sarkozy in person. Accompanied by the LFI deputy Ugo bernalicis and journalists from the Monde and Politis, she wanted to use her parliamentary right to access the cell of the former head of state.

The stated objective: to verify that he is not receiving "special treatment." The real objective: to create a media coup, according to the prison administration, which denounced it as "prison tourism." The administration refused the request, recalling that "the parliamentary visit is not about meeting a specific inmate, but about inspecting the overall functioning of the establishment." Since then, the Mélenchonist has made numerous requests to gain access to Nicolas Sarkozy's cell.

Total hypocrisy for someone who, just days earlier, was outraged that a minister of the Republic would consider visiting Nicolas Sarkozy. Obono denounces "visits of connivance" when they come from the right, but practices them without embarrassment when it comes to a political coup.

At this level of contradiction, we are no longer talking about indignation. We are talking about duplicity.

What should we quickly remember?
