Brigitte Macron reportedly slapped Emmanuel Macron after discovering messages with Iranian actress Golshifteh Farahani

The now-viral footage of Brigitte Macron slapping Emmanuel Macron during an official trip to Hanoi continues to generate discussion. In her book An (almost) perfect coupleIn a book published by Albin Michel, journalist Florian Tardif claims that this domestic dispute was caused by messages discovered on the head of state's phone with the Franco-Iranian actress Golshifteh Farahani.

Invited this Wednesday morning on RTL by Marc-Olivier Fogiel, Florian Tardif reaffirmed this version on air. "It was a scene between a couple after a message from an Iranian actress, Golshifteh Farahani," he declared, asserting that Brigitte Macron had discovered exchanges in which Emmanuel Macron found the actress "very pretty," triggering a heated argument on the presidential plane.

At the time, the Élysée Palace attempted to downplay the incident, describing it as a simple moment of "complicity" between the presidential couple. But these new claims have reignited the controversy surrounding the scene, which went viral and sparked a flood of reactions on social media.
