— PSG-Arsenal: Paris will play the Champions League final in their home kit

Paris Saint-Germain will play the Champions League final against Arsenal in their 2025-2026 home kit. For the European fixture on Saturday, May 30 in Budapest, Luis Enrique's players will therefore wear the club's navy blue jersey, marked by the central red Hechter-style stripe, rather than an away kit or a new kit from the following season.

A choice of identity before an XXL final

This choice is not insignificant. PSG arrives in the final as the defending champion and can achieve a rare feat: retaining the Champions League title. Paris aims to become only the second club in the competition's modern era to achieve a back-to-back victory, after Real Madrid between 2016 and 2018.

The Parisian club will play this final against Arsenal at the Puskás Arena in Budapest. Kick-off is scheduled for 18 p.m., an earlier time than recent finals, chosen by UEFA to improve the organization surrounding the match.

Arsenal in red and white

Opposite them, Arsenal are also expected to play in their home kit, red and white. The London club, runners-up in 2006, will be playing in only their second Champions League final. The Gunners will wear their traditional kit, despite being the away team for this match. This setup will therefore make for a visually clear final: Paris in navy blue and red, Arsenal in red and white.

A poster laden with symbols

This PSG-Arsenal final pits two strong trajectories against each other. Paris wants to confirm its new European status after its 2025 triumph. Arsenal, for its part, is aiming for its first Champions League title and could become the 25th club to lift the trophy.

The two teams already know each other well on the European stage, with seven encounters between Paris and Arsenal in European competitions, resulting in a perfectly balanced record: two Parisian wins, two London wins, and three draws. It's worth noting, however, that last season, in the semi-final, Paris won both legs. Will it be three in a row? We'll find out on Saturday.
