Paris Saint-Germain has officially announced the arrival of Mika Godts. The 21-year-old Belgian international striker leaves Ajax Amsterdam and signs with the Parisian club until 2031. In Paris, he will wear the number 22.
PSG are betting on one of Belgium's great talents.
Born on June 7, 2005, in Leuven, Mika Godts completed part of his youth training at RSC Anderlecht before joining KRC Genk in 2020. He quickly made a name for himself in the youth ranks, notably in the UEFA Youth League. In January 2023, Ajax Amsterdam signed him to further his development. He initially played with Jong Ajax, scoring 9 goals and providing 4 assists in 25 appearances for the Ajax youth team. His performances quickly earned him a place in the first team. Mika Godts made his Dutch league debut on April 9, 2023, against Fortuna Sittard, at just 17 years old.
17 goals and 15 assists in his last season
A right winger capable of creating chances with the ball at his feet, Mika Godts gradually established himself in Ajax's first team. In his first full professional season, 2024-2025, he played 47 matches across all competitions, scoring 8 goals and providing 7 assists. Three of his goals were scored in the Europa League. The Belgian took another step forward the following season, finishing with 17 goals and 15 assists in 44 matches. He thus became the third Ajax player since the 2010-2011 season to reach at least 15 goals and 15 assists in a single campaign. His notable performances included a shot from approximately 25 meters against Utrecht in November 2025 and a goal scored after a solo run against NAC Breda in April 2026.
Already an international player with Belgium
Mika Godts has played for Belgium since his youth career. Having progressed through the youth ranks from U15 to U19, he notably participated in the U17 European Championship in May 2022, when he was only 16 years old. He has made 16 appearances, scoring 2 goals and providing 5 assists for Belgium's youth teams. His performances with Ajax subsequently earned him a place in the senior national team. He made his first appearance for the senior national team on March 28, 2026, and now has two caps.

With Mika Godts, PSG adds to its attacking sector a 21-year-old player, already experienced at the highest Dutch and European level, and who is coming off the most prolific season of his young career.
