A 24-year-old woman has been charged with murder and placed in pretrial detention after admitting to shooting a 21-year-old man found dead on Friday in Saint-Brice-sous-Forêt, in the Val-d'Oise region. The information was confirmed on Monday by the Pontoise prosecutor's office.

The victim, originally from Seine-Saint-Denis, was found dead early in the morning in a secluded area of ​​the town. Near the body, investigators found several spent cartridges, quickly suggesting a gunshot wound.
