Two individuals attempted to break into the Grenoble Museum during the night of Saturday, August 1st to Sunday, August 2nd. The burglars smashed a window in an attempt to gain entry to the cultural institution. The arrival of a security guard interrupted their attempt and forced them to flee before they could achieve their goal.

A complaint has been filed and an investigation is underway.

The Grenoble city hall has filed a complaint following this incident. An investigation has been opened to identify the perpetrators of this attempted break-in and determine the exact circumstances of their actions. Law enforcement is examining the evidence collected at the scene.

The Grenoble Museum, which houses collections of ancient and modern art, escaped the theft of artworks thanks to the swift action of the security team. Damage was limited to a broken window during the attempted nighttime break-in.
