The 31-year-old woman pushed onto the RER B tracks in Massy on Monday has died.

Last Monday, around 18:50 p.m., a 31-year-old woman was violently pushed onto the RER B tracks at Massy-Palaiseau station in Essonne. Seriously injured to the head, she was rushed to hospital, where she unfortunately succumbed to his injuries a few days later.

The attack was captured on the station's CCTV cameras. Officers from the RATP Network Protection and Security Group quickly intervened and arrested the suspect, a 23-year-old man, who was then handed over to law enforcement and taken into custody. 

According to police sources, The suspect was a runaway from a psychiatric hospital since March 1. Known to be suffering from psychiatric disorders, he must undergo an examination to determine whether his state of health is compatible with the police custody measure.
