Donald Trump confirmed her departure, stating that she was leaving the position of press secretary to be closer to her family. The president indicated, however, that she would remain in his sphere of influence, becoming one of his "senior foreign advisors."
This announcement comes amid mixed economic data. Core inflation, which excludes volatile food and energy prices, rose by 0,2% in July, after remaining virtually unchanged in June compared to the previous month.
On the energy front, fuel prices fell by 2,9% between June and July. However, compared to the same period last year, they show a 25% increase.
