Several robberies solved in France: arrests in Vallauris and Haguenau

Law enforcement has conducted several large-scale operations in recent weeks against suspected armed robbers. In Vallauris, in the Alpes-Maritimes region, suspects were arrested following the robbery of a British YouTuber on June 2nd. The influencer, who has 4,5 million subscribers, had rented a luxury villa with friends when the robbers broke in and stole luxury watches and jewelry at gunpoint. The individuals arrested are also suspected of having committed other robberies in Cannes.

Dismantling of a network in the Bas-Rhin

In the Bas-Rhin department, the gendarmerie dismantled a group of four people involved in five armed robberies in the Haguenau area at the end of March. The operation on March 25th led to the arrest of the suspects, who were targeting businesses in the region. According to investigators, the perpetrators were likely preparing to commit further crimes at the time of their arrest.

These arrests demonstrate the intensification of the fight against armed crime in the region. In the Alsatian case, three suspects have been remanded in custody and four formally charged. They face sentences of up to five years in prison. The investigation is ongoing to determine the full extent of the damages and identify any potential accomplices.
