Paris at the center is structuring itself: a new opposition group is emerging to challenge Emmanuel Grégoire's majority.

Following the municipal elections, a new political group called "Paris at the Centre" has been formed in the Paris Council. Chaired by Maud Gatel, it will bring together nearly 30 elected officials from the capital and the borough councils, including the mayor of the ninth arrondissement, Delphine Bürkli.

This group, which opposes the new majority led by Emmanuel Grégoire, intends to represent a structured and demanding alternative. Its members praised Rachida Dati's commitment during the campaign, while acknowledging the lack of change desired by a majority of voters.

The group has set three clear priorities: restoring public finances, tangibly improving the quality of life for Parisians, and providing greater support for the most vulnerable members of the community, particularly through an overhaul of after-school programs. Regarding housing, security, and cleanliness, the elected officials promise to propose concrete solutions to meet the needs of the middle class and families.

In opposition to the municipal majority, "Paris at the Center" calls for more transparent governance and open dialogue. The group asserts its intention to fully play its role as the opposition, scrutinizing the actions of the executive branch and advocating for a policy focused on the daily lives of Parisians.
