On the eve of the Miss France 2025 election, scheduled for this Saturday at the Futuroscope in Poitiers, the Miss France committee has unveiled the new crown that will adorn the head of the future beauty queen. Created by the jewelry house Mauboussin, this unique piece, named “Beautiful, moving and spiritual, France”, embodies a vision that is both royal and spiritual, according to Alain Némarq, CEO of Mauboussin.
A precious and meticulous work of art
Designed and crafted over a period of eight months, this crown required over 330 hours of goldsmithing work. Composed of a solid silver structure, it is adorned with 534 stones, including 34 diamonds, dark and light amethysts, as well as pink tourmalines. The central amethyst, cut in the shape of a pear, attracts all eyes with its 49,03 carats. Weighing almost 400 grams, this creation is more imposing and heavier than last year's.
A tribute to spirituality and elegance
Alain Némarq explained that he wanted to mark a turning point with this new design: "After celebrating youth last year, I opted for a more royal and spiritual bearing." This orientation reflects the values of refinement and elevation symbolized by the crown. In addition, the future Miss France will receive a matching set of amethysts and pink sapphires, including a pendant, earrings and a ring, named Como 1953.
A timeless symbol for the 2025 elected official
For the third consecutive year, Mauboussin signs the Miss France crown, offering the winner a jewel that she will keep for life. As Eve Gilles, Miss France 2024, confided in an interview with Gala : "This tiara becomes an object loaded with personal history, which I keep preciously."
