The Argentinian world champion has gone to enjoy himself on the more peaceful pitches of Major League Soccer ( MLS ) in the United States. Paris and Ligue 1 seem to have left a bitter taste in his mouth. From Miami, he hasn't stopped talking about his (somewhat) unsuccessful stint at PSG.

During an Inter Miami match, Messi confided to Brecht Dejaegere, a Belgian player for Charlotte FC, that his time at Paris Saint-Germain was " shitty ." The Belgian player refrained from saying the same thing on RTBF.
