The Archbishop of Paris has confirmed that a Mass presided over by Pope Leo XIV will be held on Saturday, September 26, in the early afternoon. The celebration will take place outdoors, on the Place de la Concorde and the Avenue des Champs-Élysées. This event will be the highlight of the Pope's apostolic journey to France, scheduled from September 25 to 28, which will take him to several cities across the country.
A four-day trip to France
Pope Leo XIV will visit symbolic sites and locations in Paris and throughout France. The capital will notably host a meeting between the Pope and Emmanuel Macron. The Diocese of Paris has already launched an information campaign for the faithful and opened a fundraising drive to support the organization of this exceptional event.
After Paris, the papal program includes a trip to Lourdes, a major Marian pilgrimage site, followed by a visit to the Moselle region on Monday, September 28. The Archbishop of Paris, Mgr. Laurent Ulrich, addressed a message to the Catholics of the diocese regarding this historic visit.
