The Chinese automotive industry is confirming its growing strength in international markets. Figures for June 2026 show a new record with over one million vehicles exported, a level never before reached. This performance reflects the acceleration of overseas sales for the country's manufacturers.

A growth of 71% in one year

The growth remains spectacular. Exports have jumped 71% compared to June 2025, continuing a trend that began several years ago. This sustained growth puts China on track to surpass 10 million vehicles exported for the entire year of 2026. By comparison, exports totaled 7,1 million units in the previous year.

These results illustrate the ability of Chinese brands to conquer new markets, particularly in emerging markets but also in Europe. Local production remains competitive thanks to controlled costs and a diversified offering, now including a significant range of electric vehicles.
