“Emmanuel Macron was a victim of domestic violence”: Radouane Kourak urges him to speak out and seek help

Invited to CNews this Saturday evening, journalist Radouan Kourak addressed the controversy surrounding the footage filmed in May 2025 upon the presidential couple's arrival in Vietnam, in which Brigitte Macron was seen violently pushing Emmanuel Macron's face away as he exited the presidential plane. Following the publication of new revelations this week in journalist Florian Tardif's book, Radouan Kourak stated: "I am not addressing the President of the French Republic, but Emmanuel Macron the man. If he has been a victim of domestic violence at the hands of his wife, he must speak out about it; we must help victims of domestic violence."

Kourak also considered the filmed scene to be "still an act of aggression," noting that the images had gone viral. For several days, the controversy has been reignited following Florian Tardif's statements on RTL, where, in his book "Un couple (presque) parfait" (An (Almost) Perfect Couple), he discusses an argument related to exchanges between Emmanuel Macron and the French-Iranian actress Golshifteh Farahani.

The editorial team at Entrevue magazine expresses its support for Emmanuel Macron and all victims of domestic violence. For help or to report a situation of violence, the national hotline 3919 is available free of charge and anonymously, 24/7.
