Leboncoin appoints Kieren Cooney as its chief executive

The classifieds website Leboncoin has announced the appointment of Kieren Cooney as its new CEO. The Australian will officially take up his post at the end of June, succeeding Antoine Jouteau, who left the company at the end of 2025 to pursue new professional opportunities.

With over 25 years of experience in the telecommunications, media, and digital sectors, Kieren Cooney has held senior management positions at companies such as TPG Telecom, Vodafone, Foxtel, and NBC. Leboncoin highlights his expertise in digital transformation, growth, and innovation.

An appointment focused on artificial intelligence

The company believes that her experience with digital platforms and her knowledge of the challenges related to artificial intelligence will be major assets in supporting the group's next phase of development. This appointment comes amid intense competition in the e-commerce and digital platform market.

With nearly 31 million unique users each month, Leboncoin remains one of the most visited websites in France. The group now relies on four main brands (Leboncoin, Agriaffaires, MachineryZone, and Truckscorner) following the sale of L'Argus to the Horyzon group in the fall of 2025.
