EasyJet has indicated that it expects a limited impact from the strike announced for Easter Monday, stating that it can operate the majority of its flights to and from France. At this stage, no widespread cancellations are planned, although occasional disruptions remain possible.
The industrial action, launched by a union in the sector, aims to denounce what are considered deteriorating working conditions, particularly regarding scheduling. Employees had overwhelmingly rejected a recent internal agreement, exacerbating tensions with management.
Tensions surrounding working conditions
Employee representatives also criticize the use of financial incentives to limit participation in the strike. They believe these measures do not address the fundamental demands related to work organization and stable working hours.
For its part, the company assures that it is monitoring the situation and will inform passengers directly in the event of disruptions. With a significant presence in the French market, EasyJet is planning a limited mobilization to maintain the core of its operations during this crucial day.
