Republican members have until Sunday, May 18, at 18 p.m. to elect their new president, in a completely virtual election. This Saturday at 18 p.m., online voting officially began. Only the 121.671 members with up-to-date dues can participate, unlike the 2012 primary, which was open to all supporters.

A decisive duel for the future of the party

The vote pits two major figures of the right against each other: Interior Minister Bruno Retailleau and the leader of the LR deputies.
