Jean Lassalle is preparing a possible return to the race for the Élysée Palace. The former member of parliament for the Pyrénées-Atlantiques region announced on ICI Béarn Bigorre radio the launch of a crowdfunding campaign to finance a potential candidacy in the 2027 presidential election.

Having already run in 2017 and again in 2022, the founder of the Resist! movement claims to want to embody an "anti-establishment" candidacy. According to him, a budget of at least 100,000 euros is necessary to launch his campaign and cover initial expenses.

A third attempt is being prepared.

Jean Lassalle wants to rely on donations from his supporters rather than traditional political financing channels. This fundraising effort should allow him to gather the necessary resources to structure his team and prepare his campaign.

With less than a year until the presidential election, several figures are already positioning themselves. With this new initiative, Jean Lassalle hopes to once again offer an independent voice and defend rural areas, a theme that has marked his previous campaigns.
