LVMH formalized this Friday, March 28, the appointment of Jean-Christophe Babin as CEO of its Watches division, effective April 1, 2025. He succeeds Frédéric Arnault, recently promoted to head of Loro Piana. Jean-Christophe Babin will also retain leadership of Bulgari, which he has led since 2013, and will report to Stéphane Bianchi, the group's Deputy CEO.
Continuity and upgrading
In his new role, Jean-Christophe Babin will oversee the TAG Heuer, Zenith, and Hublot watchmaking companies. He will be tasked with continuing the upmarket and transformation strategy spearheaded by Frédéric Arnault, notably through the development of synergies between the brands and increased work on their positioning. The three current heads of these companies—Antoine Pin, Benoît de Clerck, and Julien Tornare—will now report to him.
Stéphane Bianchi praised the "entrepreneurial spirit" and "leadership qualities" of Babin, who had already led TAG Heuer between 2000 and 2011. This appointment reinforces LVMH's desire to assert its position in the global watch market, by relying on experienced profiles loyal to the group.
