Michaël Youn and his partner Isabelle Funaro were victims of a home invasion at their residence in Éguilles, near Aix-en-Provence. The incident occurred on Monday morning around 8:30 a.m. Two masked men reportedly entered the house while the couple's two children, aged 14 and 7, were present.
The couple's daughter was threatened with a long gun.
The attack quickly took a particularly disturbing turn. One of the assailants held up Michaël Youn and Isabelle Funaro's daughter with a long gun. Under threat, the comedian was forced to open her safe.
Nearly 100,000 euros stolen
The robbers made off with a substantial haul of cash, jewelry, and watches. The estimated value of the stolen goods is nearly €100,000. After the robbery, the two men fled on a motorcycle.
An investigation is underway to identify the perpetrators of the home invasion, to trace their movements and to determine the exact circumstances of this violent intrusion into the couple's home.
