After H&M, which featured its first veiled model during a photo shoot, Dolce & Gabbana has just unveiled a collection of hijabs for wealthy women.
According to Metro.uk, hijabs, abayas and other veils make up the new collection by designers Stefano Gabbana and Domenico Dolce which was launched on the Arab portal Style.com. If the cuts remain traditional, the clothes will be made of noble materials such as silk or lace and numerous patterns will bring added value to the models.
The Dolce & Gabbana brand will thus make it possible to satisfy the requirements of their wealthy Muslim clients, representing 22% of their clientele, particularly in Saudi Arabia where wearing the abaya is obligatory.
