The Bataclan will reopen on November 12 with a Sting concert

The performance hall will finally open its doors on November 12 with a Sting concert. A tribute ceremony will be held on November 13 in the presence of the Eagles of Death Metal, the group that was playing at the time of the terrorist attack.

Almost a year to the day after the attacks which devastated the capital, the owner of the Bataclan, Lagardère Unlimited Live Entertainment, announced the reopening of the Parisian performance hall on November 12. It is Sting who will inaugurate the new hall with a concert before the day of commemorations on the 13th, in the presence of the Eagles of Death Metal, the group which played during the attack. For this concert, tickets will be on sale but most seats will be reserved.

For the occasion, security has been reinforced, including a new door opening system. A security team and agents from the police headquarters will be mobilized that evening. Initially, the Bataclan was to open its doors on November 16, with a concert by Pete Doherty.
